STYMIE

30/01/2018
Sarina High School has a zero tolerance for bullying and subscribes to an organisation that enables students to report incidents of bullying and harassment anonymously.
This platform has been adopted to empower bystanders to stand up and speak up when they are witness to unacceptable behaviour that affects their peers.  The school is committed to respond to ALL “Stymie” reports within 48 hours of them being made.
If incidents are not reported it is impossible for us to support you and your student as we are unaware of incidents occurring.  The options available to families to report incidents are:
•Through Stymie (www.stymie.com.au)
•To a Teacher in person or writing (on paper or via email)
•To a Deputy in person or writing (on paper or via email)
To ensure we have a whole of community approach to maintaining a safe environment we require the bravery of everyone to stand up for what is right.  Stymie relies on the power of the “bystander” to say that particular behaviours are NOT acceptable in our community.
