National Science Week is Australia's annual celebration of science and technology.
Running each year in August, it features more than 1000 events around Australia, including those delivered by universities, schools, research institutions, libraries, museums and science centres.
This week our school is hosting the following for students:
MONDAY: Fish dissection (first lunch break in 502)
TUESDAY: Water Police coming in for boating stories (first lunch break in the library)
WEDNESDAY: Water quality testing from different beaches (first lunch break in 502)
THURSDAY: Ocean acidification prac (first lunch break in 502)
FRIDAY: Cast netting and traditional fishing with Uncle Doug (first lunch break on the oval)
