SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS FOR YEAR 7 IN 2025 ARE NOW CLOSED.
Sarina State High School, is offering
twelve (12) scholarships, for students who are attending our education
institution in 2025.
Scholarships at the school will be
presented for the following categories:
- Four (4) for Academic Excellence
- Four (4) for Citizen/Leadership Excellence or
Cultural Excellence
- Four (4) for Sporting, Rugby League or Netball
Excellence
Criteria
Applicants must attend a primary
school in the Sarina Cluster in Year 6 and be recommended by their primary
school for the nominated scholarship. Scholarship holders will receive their
benefits in Year 7 at Sarina State High School, provided they abide by the
school’s behaviour code, and maintain the excellence for which they were
chosen.
Guidelines
Scholarship applications will be
processed by an independent panel at the high school and the recipient’s will
be notified once the process is completed. A scholarship will entitle the
student to $200 towards any educational expense incurred during the
first year of attendance at Sarina State High School.
Additional information
- Applicants may select one or more scholarships,
and be considered for those categories. Successful applicants will only be
awarded one scholarship.
- All applications will be kept confidential.
- Recipients of the scholarships will be notified
by telephone, while unsuccessful applicants will be identified by mail.
- Recipients of the scholarships will be
advertised in Sarina State High School publications as well as in the local
community.
