NAPLAN ONLINE IS COMING - YEAR 7 & 9
In 2023, Naplan has been moved from May to March. All year 7 and 9 students will undertake the
four NAPLAN tests of Reading, Writing, Conventions of Language and Numeracy between
Wednesday 15th March and Wednesday 22nd March. An official schedule will be sent out closer to
the date.
Students will undertake a NAPLAN Familiarisation session in either Period 1 or 2 on Wednesday 15th
February, 2023 where they will have the opportunity to run through organisational procedures, log
into the Locked Down Browser and familiarise themselves with the different styles of questions.
Students will require a fully charged iPad, headphones and the locked down browser downloaded. The NAP Locked Down Browser can be downloaded from the App Store on the students iPad by searching NAP. Students will need an AppleID to download apps from the App Store. Students under 13 years of age will need their parent to create an AppleID on their behalf - see instructions here.

* A limited number of laptops are available for students who do not own an iPad. ALL STUDENTS MUST PROVIDE A SET OF HEADPHONES TO USE.
